Biography

Garrett was born on September 3rd, 1984 in Roseau (Minnesota). He lived there with his brother Nathaniel, sister Amanda and parents Robert and Kristine. After a few years, his parents got devorced and his mom and sister moved to Arizona.

When Garrett was 15 years old, he moved to Arizona, to live with his mother and sister. There he went to highschool, Horizon High School in northeast Phoenix, and he participated in Ice Skating, Wrestling and Football. And besides school, he modeled for LL Bean and Teen Magazine. He also took some private acting lessons, because acting was one of his passions.

At age 19, he left to LA. To purchase his dream and become and actor. He was luckily spotted at an audition for blockbuster "Troy" - featuring great actors like Eric Bana, Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom and Sean Bean. And that was the start of Garrett's carreer.

After "Troy" became a big success, Garrett was also seen in "Friday Night Lights" alongside his childhood hero Tim McGraw and 2005's best movie "Four Brothers" with Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson and Outkast singer Andrι Benjamin (Andrι 3000).

Garrett then jumped on to another project, "Eragon" a movie based on the book by Christopher Paolini. It was released on December 15, 2006 and is a great success, being named "Film Of The Year 2006". Garrett character Murtagh was also a part of the "Eragon" game, for which they used Garrett's voice. Now books and action figures will follow, giving you the opportunity to get "close" to Garrett.

2007 is set to be a great year for Mr. Hedlund, he will be seen in "Georgia Rule" with Lindsay Lohan and Felicity Huffman, a movie about a troubled young girl who lives with her mother and abusive father.

Hedlund will also shine as Billy in the movie "Death Sentence", which hits stores on DVD in January 2008. A movie about revenge. It will show a different side of Garrett, non of us has seen yet, and features his first big role.

Things will change and Garrett will be popular worldwide, a thing he sure deserves!
