1312008 - Did I Say I Nearly Died? (And Cried)
DJ Mad Dogg is the best dude ever

I received a message from DJ Mad Dogg. He went to New York, told Lil' Eddie about me and asked him to sign me a mixtape. So he did and Mad Dogg will send it to me soon. Tomorrow will be the first day at work. Fingers crossed.

1302008 - Une, Dois, Tres, Lisboa
My granddad is in the hospital, again

My granddad (the same as the kneecap) has pneumonia and is in the hospital at the moment. When we went to visit him, he was emotional and asked me if I wanted to come to Portugal this summer. And then my dad went emotional as well. DRAMA DRAMA.

1232008 - Recognision - FINALLY
DJ Mad Dogg left me a message

The person who made Lil' Eddie's official mixtape, DJ Mad Dogg, left me a message on MySpace, telling me he appreciates that I like what he's done.

1152008 - I Hate U
My dad got me a job I didn't want and my wishlist

My lovely dad got me a job at the same company I worked at last summer. I told him before I didn't want to work there anymore, but he decided to tell them I was looking for a job. This all behind my back. But because I will earn some money, I am somewhat happy and made myself a wishlist.

1112008 - Dammit, I Got So Excited!
I recieved a second message from Lil' Eddie

My love for Lil' Eddie is deep and I was so excited when he replied to my message about 2 of his songs.

1022008 - Oh The Horror
My granddad is in the hospital and LLD is finally open

My mom told me my granddad collapsed, and I was very scared because he's having problems with his heart. Fortunately it wasn't his heart, he broke his kneecap. I went to see him later that evening. On a more joyful note, La Lietta Designs is finally open, as well as Anywhere But Home.

1012008 - Happy New Year
Finally 2008

Hopefully 2008 will bring as much joy, food and good music as 2007 did.

12302007 - Rest In Peace
Bought new movies and my aunt died

Although the day started nice with some new (awesome) movies and my first Prison Break DVD box, it ended with a painful bang. My aunt had died, after 10 years of pain and sickness. We took my cousin home and I tried my best to keep her focused on something else.

12272007 - Late Night Post
Harry Potter 3, Wordpress and Mozilla Firefox

Watching Harry Potter 3 had me wondering why I never watched it before. I'm thinking about switching the site to Wordpress, although my last experience with Wordpress wasn't that good. I also tried Mozilla Firefox for the first time, but I'm not sure whether I like it.

12252007 - Diamond
What I got for christmas and how come I liked Harry Potter

My sister bought me a Diamond ring and Covet Sarah Jessica Parker for christmas. And because I didn't feel like being with my family, I stayed at home and watched Harry Potter 2, to my surprise I actually quite liked it.

Before making a website, you need to decided how you're gonna call it. It's not as simple as many people think. Naming a fansite is easier than naming a personal domain. A personal domain's name must reflect who you really are, it's basicly a description of yourself.

Why did I come up with the name "Anywhere But Home" for this site? It's very poetic. I'm a dreamer, a writer, someone who is here with her body but somewhere far away with her mind. My mind in this story is Giulietta and my body is Home. Giulietta is Anywhere But Home.

It really reflects me.

I started making website in October 2003 (2-10-2003). Believe it or not, but my first website was made with Paint and was hosted by MSN Groups. It's still online, if you want to look, but it doesn't have any content: AleshaLove. It was all about singer Alesha Dixon, former member of UK girlgroup Mis-Teeq, which was my favourite band back in the days. It all happened because of Louise from MisteeqHeaven. I admired her for having a Mis-Teeq group and as more people made groups about Mis-Teeq, I wanted to join the party.

So I started a group about my favourite member, Alesha. It exsisted until 2005, when Mis-Teeq split and I changed hosts. I had already moved to another group, MisteeqLove in March 2004 (6-3-2004), then changed to The Misteeq Studios in May 2004 (14-5-2004), moved to Geocities (12-2-2005) and then moved to Freewebs (30-05-2005), where I changed names a couple of times (TMS Online & Misteeq INC).

I also started a Designing / Protection Group on MSN, which was called "Velvet Dreams", originally also a fansite for my friend Dave and his boyfriend Jared, back in 2004 (7-11-2004). The reason for making a designing site was because that really was a hype on MSN Groups. There were so many, and still are so many, designing websites, such as Broken-Inside and BloodLustGraphix. I've been a designer on several other designing websites, before making one myself. Many people would request from me and they seemed to love my designs.

On July 13, 2005 I changed hosts for my "Velvet Dreams" website, from MSN Groups to Freewebs, but in May 2006 I closed the website because I felt no interest anymore.

On October 9, 2005, I also put AleshaLove on Hiatus, because I had just bought a domain: Hedlund-Daily.com, which is a fansite for amazing actor Garrett Hedlund (Death Sentence), who's been my addiction since October 2003 (funny how that was the month and year I started making websites). I decided to take a different road and go for the official way: paying for a website. Hedlund Daily instantly became a hit and it's been first on Google for over 2 years.

After months of practicing on my designing, I decided to redo the entire Mis-Teeq site and move to Hedlund-Daily.com, where it was filed under /mis-teeq in June 2006 (10-6-2006), nearly 3 years after the launch of AleshaLove. It was officially launched on August 7, 2006 (7-8-2006), but frooze on June 17, 2007 (17-6-2007) because I had no more time for the site. Hedlund Daily is still running and I've made several other fansites as well, such as Dan'ee Daily, which is about model Dan'ee Doty (Maybelline).

Ever since getting addicted to the internet in 2003, I've had online profiles on Hyves, CU2 and Xanga (and so many more). I liked writing about myself, but blogging has really become attractive to me just a few months ago.

4 Days after the launch of Hedlund Daily, I added my own site, which I named AnywhereButHome. The intention was to have a site with free graphics and stuff about me, but the past two years it has really watered and lately it has not been what I wanted.

Not too long ago I decided to return as a designer and have a request page on ABH, where people could only request layouts, as that is the graphic I most like doing. I called it ABHus* (with the intention to buy a domain for it) and started with hope. I didn't have many affiliates and therefor no one really requested. I wanted to change the layout and put the site on hiatus, with just an index page with my blog. But then a friend of mine started requesting MANY layouts and I lost interest again, motivation and worst of all - creativity. I was pretty much down and didn't even feel like waking up in the morning.

Luckily another friend of mine asked me to make her a layout and when I started so many ideas popped in my head. Then another friend asked me for a layout and another one and now I'm back in bussines and have more creativity than ever!

The site now features stuff about myself, my works and my blog. The Designs page is now called "La Lietta," a name I can up with a long long time ago, even before the internet era. When I was younger, I wanted to become a fashion designer and I wanted to have my own label, La Lietta. Since I'm nowhere EVER being a fashion designer, I named my graphic design site La Lietta. Now people will have to buy my designs for a reasonable price.

Pfff, long story. But to make it short: I've been designing for over 4 years now. I started with MSN Groups, but through the years learned HTML, PHP and CSS and now I own a professional site ;)
