The Official Lil' Eddie Mixtape was released in january 2008. There were only 200 copies available via DJ Mad Dogg and DJ Brooklyn Hot of Soundz God Entertainment, who also mixed it. The mixtape contains 29 tracks, including 2 full tracks, 3 exclusives, 2 previously unreleased tracks and a bonus remix of Ms Ruby.
The promo video for Kylie's "All I See", which was written by Eddie, has been released. When the official Music Video will be released, is yet to be announced.
The video reminds me of Madonna and doesn't suit the song. Whilst the track is more R&B, the video has a rock edge to it, which completely outshines the soft voice and lyrics. No offense to Kylie, because I love her, but I hope the music video will be better. Judge for yourself.
Eddie has recently been interviewed by Monica Mania, "The Suga Mama Of Music Blogs". He talks about his passion for music, about Esquared and his future plans. Looks like a new studio album is in the makings. Halleluja.
"Singer/songwriter Edwin "Lil' Eddie" Serrano best known for crafting hits such as Kylie Minogue's "All I See", Paula Abdul's "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow", and Jojo's "Coming For You", "The Good Ol" - started his professional musical career as an artist signed to Mario Winans' Yellowman/Big 3 Records, and as the years flown by, he's become one of the most sought-after Latino musicians in the Urban music scene.
I caught up with the "Night Life" singer to talk about his shelved debut LP "Nobody's Fool", songwriting teams, forthcoming projects, working with top-notch producers like Soulshock & Karlin (Toni Braxton, Keyshia Cole), Cutfather & Jonas Jeberg (Jordin Sparks, Nina Sky), Deekay (Sugababes, Misteeq), and so much more...
When did you realize that singing and songwriting was the career you've wanted to pursue professionally for the rest of your life?
Eddie: First lemme start by saying thanx for this opportunity to talk about my music. I started singing professionally at the age of 10 with the New York Boys Choir. We sang with and back up for many celebrities throughout the world like Japan for the Olympics. I remember this one performance in North Carolina when I was 13yrs old where the choir was on tour and I sang for a church service. It had to be a few hundred people and I recall everyone screaming and crying. The reaction was so incredible I must have had sang for an hour straight (lol). That was when god told me I was called to sing. My writing really was something I always did before I even go into professional songwriting. When I started gaining contacts in the music industry, I wanted a chance so bad that I lied and said I knew how to write songs and really shocked myself when producers we're impressed with my ideas. I learned more and more about how to become a better songwriter thru out the years. I loved the process and I just can't see my future without writing songs.
You were initially signed to Mario Winans' Yellowman/Big 3 Records, and your debut album "Nobody's Fool" was on the verge of being released, however, things didn't go as planned. Can you enlighten us about why you parted ways with the label? And are there any plans of releasing the album independently?
- Well, the Yellow City/Big 3 experience was amazing! Mario and I had one idea of what we wanted my album and artistry to be as he's seen my vision eye to eye, but when we signed to Big 3, there we're different ideas which caused us to part ways. Later on, Mario and I just kinda grew away from my project, but we're still very cool. He will always have an influence on my music, and I learned a lot from him.
However, I never let my project go as I had a record in Germany called "Nightlife" that scored on the black charts' top 30 for 10 weeks without a deal. I've also kept touring Germany for the past 2 yrs and it's been amazing. I also just performed in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai. I'm hoping to release my music in the States one day soon!
How does it feel to be one of the few Latino singers/songwriters who have a secured a niche for themselves in the Urban music scene?
- It's a true blessing to be one of the very few Latino songwriters in this urban music industry to have had success and a publishing deal with EMI. I'm just happy to be doing what I love the most."
I've added a new page, called "With Celebrities". Throughout the past 3/4 years Eddie has written songs for several artists, and had the pleasure to perform with some other amazing artists as well.
I decided to put up a collection of photos which were taken during these events and/or meetings. Click one of the images above or click here to view the page. Enjoy.
I have to set something straight for my man Lil' Eddie.
There are some good producers out there, who aren't only nice but also know how to make good music. Unfortunately some of them feel the need to pretend they wrote the music they only produced.
Songwriters are placed in the credits as well as the producers. "Written by so and so" - "produced by him or her". If you've participated in a song, either way you'll get the recognision you deserve. Then why is it that some people take credit for something they didn't do?
I won't say names, because I won't level down to them, but I am sick of the ones who steal and/or lie about Eddie's music. You know who you are, so if you read this message - stop!

I was pleasantly surprised when I visited Eddie's page. He has updates the layout to a flash design, from LoveMyFlash.
On top of that, he has also added some photos from Dubai, and added one of the promotion graphics I put up two weeks ago (bless you Eddie!). So I suggest you go check it out at MySpace.
If you haven't added him to your friends yet, do so, add him to your top friends and spread the word!
I decided to finally upload all the images to the gallery. It took me all day, but it was worth it. I found some exclusive images, including one with Nicole of Nina Sky, one with Trinity Stone, some performances and of course the "Nobody's Fool" series.
Feel free to leave comments or upload some of your Eddie photos as well! Credits to Nina Sky, Trinity Stone, Big3 Records, and of course Eddie!
Eddie's name is mentioned on UK singer Natalia's official website. Eddie and Natalia recently got together in the studio and two of the tracks they recorded will be featured on her upcoming album. The tracktitles, or tracklisting, are yet to be revealed. You heard it first on Lil' Eddie Online.
The finishing touches are currently being put to her album, due for release early next year, and the contributors list reads like a whos who of producers and writers. Among those who have worked their magic on her debut are Peter Zizzo (Avril Lavigne, J-Lo), Andy Marvel (Jessica Simpson, Celine Dion, Diana King), Jimmy Bralower (R Kelly Madonna, Britney Spears), Mike Mangini (Joss Stone, Run DMC, The Corrs), J-Remy (Kelly Rowland, Fatman Scoop, Fabolous), Itaal Shut (Jewel, Maxwell, Rob Thomas), Lil Eddie (P Diddy, LL Cool J) and K.Warren (Brandy, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera).
The past couple of days there are 2 songs of Eddie floating around the internet. Both were shared illegally and we are urging everyone to stop spreading these tracks!

Therefor we are calling all fans to unite and stop the float from happening. If you see a link to "In Stereo" or "Postcard", please report the file to the host and have them removed.
Below are (e-mail) addresses of several file hosts, who you can report the abuse to. Provide them with the URL of the file and the text "please delete on request of artist: song sharing violates law". On most sites there is also a "Report file" or "Report abuse" link next to the song.
